Geomod contributes to the development of the first national simulator of exposure to electromagnetic waves

A strategic tool to better understand the impact of mobile networks
After three years of collaboration with the Agence nationale des fréquences (ANFR), Geomod by Coexya is proud to have contributed to the development of the very first simulator of exposure to electromagnetic waves generated by mobile telephony antennas in France.
Accessible to everyone via the Cartoradio.fr platform and the OpenBarres mobile application, this ground-breaking tool makes it possible to visualise exposure levels outside buildings throughout mainland France. This is a major step forward in terms of transparency and protection of the electromagnetic environment.
By simulating the exposure of more than 130 billion points across the country, this system provides a precise view of the impact of mobile networks and enables monitoring measures to be targeted more effectively. Geomod has contributed its expertise in spatial modelling and geographic data processing to support ANFR in this nationwide project.

RemOnline: supporting local authorities to improve local control
As an extension of this national initiative, Geomod is offering its RemOnline tool, a solution dedicated to local authorities to help them :
- Take stock of exposure to electromagnetic waves,
- Facilitate dialogue with telecoms operators,
- Provide clear indicators to support local decisions on the siting of antennas.
With the rapid roll-out of mobile networks, local authorities need to keep control of their electromagnetic environment. With RemOnline, Geomod supports local authorities in this dynamic by providing them with simple, appropriate tools to effectively manage their projects.
